Lending a helping hand in Sudan

Sister Rita Quinn
has been asked to go with GOAL, an Irish NGO (non-governmental
organisation), to work in Sudan, just south of Darfur, among the
many people there who are in great need of basic health facilities.
Sr Rita has been given responsibility to help set up eleven
outreach health clinics, to motivate the staff and organise the
running of these health facilities. She left on 12th May
2007
and will be there for some months. She is delighted to have this
opportunity to serve the very poorest people and we wish her every
blessing on this undertaking.
