Laundry bags for the Marillac
Helping those on the frontline
A request came in to the Province to ask if we could make 70 laundry bags for the staff in the Marillac, Warley near Brentwood. These bags would help to reduce the spread of infection. Once a shift was over, each member of staff could put her/his uniform into a cotton laundry bag which would then go straight to the laundry for a high temperature wash. Daughters of Charity in Hulme, Liverpool and Southport responded to the request to help those working on the frontline of DC Services.
